JJ66Riviera
I have a 1966 Buick Riviera that I picked up with no engine, trans or hood. If anyone can point me in the right direction of where to find a 425 engine. The trans and hood I found, just having a little trouble locating the motor. The car is in really good shape and would love to get it running back to how it should be, with a 425!! I'm in California. Can drive to pick up or freight as long as it's within the states. Thx, JJ
sagefinds
JJ, I don't have an engine but many years ago I had a 67 Rivi with the 430 engine. From what I saw, experienced and heard back in those days,a 430 was twice the engine the nailhead 425 was. You might do a little research and see if they would interchange and keep an eye out for either one but in particular a 430. There is a big engine in a junkyard here they say is a Buick 455,no idea what year or if it would fit. Just throwing that out there. Good luck in your search.
