Guest Posted April 26, 2020 Share Posted April 26, 2020 If you need replacement nails I have not seen the long strips but mid 50's Chevrolet single nails are available. With cloth upholstery it may be easier to cut the existing nails off the metal strip and use new nails nailing through the cloth and metal strip and then pricking the material over the head of the nail as was done on fisher wood framed bodies . RiKi5156B Posted April 26, 2020 Author Share Posted April 26, 2020 Actually its an all new vinyl interior and all nails, tack strips and so on are new. I noticed a couple screws in the carpeted kick area but the perimeter of the door panel must be nails. I'm wondering if I pull the door panel will it renail back in place?
