1913Moline
Any other "non Californians" a bit confused by the amount of California Real Estate ads in the new Roster of Worldwide Members. I am all for using ads to offset costs, but taking it to this extent seems to nearly render the thing nearly useless. Greg
Guest
I agree. But what I find most frustrating is, as a person in the antique/brass car business, why was there no offer to members to purchase display advertising. After the last roster was printed, I contacted the HCCA office regarding my interest in purchasing display advertising in the next roster. They said they would contact me-well, they never did, nor did they ever run an ad in the Gazette about an upcoming roster and/or an advertising deadline. Also, so many of the regular antique automotive advertisers that usually advertise in the HCCA roster did not have ads in this issue. Why was the roster kept such a secret???? Also, notice that all of the ads are from property vendors in the most exclusive sections of California-maybe the National Board is again trying to tell us that this really is a club for prosperous California-based collectors! Jim Dix
I too was rather, er, upset as I was told several Rosters ago that my business was not appropriate for advertising in the roster! Now we get a real estate book with hot rods!
Guest
Everyone I talk to seems confused about this. Could we get a response from some of National board members explaining the logic(?) behing the new HCCA guide for So.Cal realtors????Guy Zaninovich-Southern Michigan Motorist Region HCCAmotoringicons@hotmail.com
