1940 S7 brake line fittings

Hi guys. I just picked up a 1940 S7 in decent condition- except for the brakes. I am going to rebuild all cylinders and install all new lines. I see that it is 1/4 tubing, but does anyone know what the fitting size flare is? Double, single, ...? I have not been able to undo any fittings yet (too rusted) and want to order parts. Thanks!

Syngen Smythe,

If you want to go NEW --- I have the Master Cylinder, Wheel Cylinders, Brake Hoses, and Brake Shoes --- all NEW with NO Core Charges and NO return shipping.....

Most of those fittings are not conventional -- and you are going to have to work at cleaning them and keeping them useable...

If you can call me for FREE --- here is my phone number ---

       516 - 485 - 1935...... New York..... Yours, Craig.....

In Weatherhead fittings (brass) the number after the X tells you the size of the fitting in 1/16".  For example a specific fitting 131 x 3 is an inverted flare fitting for 3/16" line.  131 tells you it is an inverted flare fitting. if the number after the x is 2 it would be for a 1/8" line, 4 would be 1/4" line, 5 would be 5/16" etc etc.
