1934 Studebaker Dictator Coupe production

A few weeks ago I received a inquiry re the number of 1934 Dictator coupes assembled. Lost that correspondence but to answer the question there were 4628 built. Of this number 3234 were 3 passenger and 1394 were 5 passenger (with the rumble seat).

That was me that asked. The one in the picture is identical to mine. Surprised there was more 3 passenger built than 5.  Mine is a Canadian built one as well. 

Do you know the name of the person I can contact at the museum to get the details if any of the options and colour etc  that my car would have had?

You are welcome. Glad to assist. There are no production orders for 1934 cars. Therefore no way to make that determination. Earliest available 1936 and not all of those.

I'd guess that, even for 1934, those production numbers are pretty low?

Very nice. Like you had said, very little information on the sales slip as to options and colour etc. 

On a different subject, I've actually been to Greensboro before when I was Airforce. We did training missions at Seymour Johnson AFB. Good times.
