I just finished the installation of a 2-speed electric wiper motor conversion on my '39 Special and wanted to let anyone who is considering a change know that the motor kit from Newport Engineering is first class. The motor bolted right in, as advertised, without the slightest problem. I didn't have to make any "park" or sweep adjustments either....everything was pre-set at the factory and worked fine out of the box. Amazing!

Hey Old Guy,<BR>Newport has a number of distributors, I like to deal with parrautomotive.com They're nice people with fast service and they list a 37-38BOP unit that should fit the bill.

This will amaze you, I don't want electric wipers. I rebuilt my vacuum and they run great. I like the old feel and sound of the vacuum. <P>------------------<BR>buickfam@aol.com<BR>Life long Buick Fan.<BR>1965 Skylark H/T<BR>1965 Gran Sport Convertible<BR>1948 Chevy Pickup with 401 Buick.<BR>"Fan of anything that moves human beings"

I installed a vacuum reserve tank from an early sixties Buick (what else?) and there is almost no drop in speed when you accelerate. <P>------------------<BR>buickfam@aol.com<BR>Life long Buick Fan.<BR>1965 Skylark H/T<BR>1965 Gran Sport Convertible<BR>1948 Chevy Pickup with 401 Buick.<BR>"Fan of anything that moves human beings"
