palbuick
Hi BillI will have to check, but I think I bought his reproduction sill plated for my 40 Buick, some years ago. They were an excellent fit and looked exactly like originals.I will get back to you in a couple of days .JIm Schlf / palbuick@aol.com
Guest
Hi Bill,When I restored my '52 woody, I bought Galadeto's door sills. The fit was very good, but they were so shiny and new, that they made everything else around them look old and worn! They were smooth aluminum. My old ones were so deteriorated that I couldn't tell if there was supposed to be any texture or not on the surface of the door sill plates. The new ones had no texture, but the fit was good, and they had the proper hump for the windlace to fit in at the ends.Pete Phillips, BCA #7338Ector, Texas
Guest scott mich bca # 6619
I bought a set for my '55 Roadmaster 2 dr. from Buick World. They were a bit pricey, but they were an exact duplicate.I know they order them from an outside vender, perhaps Galaleto. It took over 8 weeks.Scott Mich BCA # 6619, OCA # 3947
