Guest
I recently bought a 1952 Buick Super, model 56R. How can I go about determining what the original colors might have been, both internally as well as the body? I believe the body was a dark green, but I'm not sure of the color of the top. The top of the seat was a green leather, but I am not certain of the color of the seats, the head liner or the carpeting. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to obtain this information? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Bill Stoneberg
If you can give us the numbers off the Data plate (passenger side, under the hood on the cowl, normally aluminum or painted like the car) that will give a start at any rate. From that we determine the color of the car and the color of the leather.
