Guest
Don't know about the '89, but the Delco Service Center here in Southern California rebuilds the '90/'91 unit (all three functions: am, fm, cassette) for about $150. If you want, I'll get the telephone number and/or address.Jerry
Guest
I sent my 89 cassette deck to United Radio phone# 800-448-0944. They did a very good job and it has a one year warranty. I think the price was about $80.00 to $100.00 with a quick turnaround.

bobwhite
I sent my radio to Corvette Radios in Oregon. The cost was $189. One channel was dead requiring replacement of one audio module and the cassette deck needed new belts and a cleaning. It has worked fine now after about six months. Here is their web page.
