Guest
I am in the process of assembling a Ford Galaxie (Convertible) front suspension. The car serial # identifies it as a 64 but the parts manual shows the suspention as 63. The front of the lower control arm is held in place by a large torsion nut and a offset bolt that scews into the nut after placing it in the frame. Here is the question-What is the correct procedure for shimming and aligning the offset bolt on the lower control arm.??????? The 64 shop manual says nothing
oldford
Hooter - I have some info you may be able to use. It is in the 1964 National Service Data. I don't have a '63 book, but the '64 seems to look like the set-up you frdcribe. Send me an email and maybe I can fax you this.
