Fortunateson
I'm scrapping out a '47 Buick sedan. The frame is in good shape. I was wondering what the differences are between a sedan and convertible frame. Both cars are 50 Series. Any help appreciated.
jackofalltrades70
Center (X-frame) is reinforced to help prevent flex and there are additional mounts rivited to the frame along the side and at the cowl hope this helps Matt
Fortunateson
Thanks. Again, I have to go to my storage facility to check the Convert and Sedanette cars to see if I should keep the sedan frame. Hate scrapping perfectly good material. By the way I love your convert and always check in to see more pics; keep them coming please! Hey, how do you remove the antenna? Looked for set screws and couldn't see any. Just scavenging whatever may be useful for whenever I start my to Buick projects....
