stvaughn
Well my temporary repair could actually be considered laminated glass since I have the cracked plate glass laminated between two pieces of clear gorilla tape. 😄
Restorer32
I was very curious as to how the curved laminated safety glass we needed would actually be made. Wouldn't the heat needed to bend the glass affect the laminate? Of course it would. Turns out 2 separate panes of a very slightly different radius are curved then laminated afterwards. Speaking of which, we are about to install those $4000 curved windows into the car. Wish us luck.
