MechanicalWhispers
I'm heading to the annual fall meet next month in Hershey, and I wanted to create a nice blanket to stay warm during the brisk morning of watching the cars enter the show field. And it was an obvious choice for me to use the Model "A" Ford as the design inspiration, since it's my favorite antique car. What do you guys think of my latest artwork?
Paul Dobbin
Pretty cool. What size blanket and do you have a way to put my car on a blanket like that? You may be on to something if you get Ford Motor Companies permission to use their logo.
MechanicalWhispers
Thank you! Yeah, I have contacted Ford about licensing rights. Still waiting to hear back. I can certainly put your car on a blanket (or t-shirt, or pillow, or basically anything that Society6, RedBubble, or other "print on demand" sites offer). I do prefer taking my own photos of the cars, but if you have a high resolution (12-24 megapixel or up) clear photo of your car, it would be possible. The Model A inspired the design for the background and composition. So it might turn out different, depending on other cars' details. I can do blankets in 51" x 60", 68" x 80", and 88" x 104".
