Query re 56 Special/Century wiper bezels

I may not get an answer to this but in case someone actually knows the answer...

 

One of the windscreen wiper bezels on the car is missing the small diameter metal tube that the rubber washer hose connects onto. Does the metal tube simply fit into the back of the bezel via an interference fit or is the metal tube joined to the bezel in some other manner?

 

I need to take or pull out the metal tube from a bad bezel I have bought and then put this into my good bezel that is missing the tube.  

 

As I understand it the 54-56 small body cars all use the same bezel.

 

Can anyone help?

I believe it is press fit. I do not believe anything is retaining it otherwise. Be careful, its copper.

Thanks, I did try and pull it out but no luck so far. I think I will put the heat gun on the bezel and see if can loosen the fit and try again.

Well it won't budge ... I am going to have to give this some more thought.
