Brewcitybroker
Hi, I'm looking at a Riviera with that has bench seats and a center console, but with a steering column shift. I can't find another one like it. Supposedly this is a one family owned car. They made no mention of doing any replacement to the car - and it all seems to be 100% original. Can anyone tell me if this was a factory option, or do you think it was swapped out of a '71 or '72? Again this has has actual bucket seats - not split - and by console I mean the same looking console (glove box) that you see on the GS with console shift (with the lock on side). See picture below. The other thing is this car has wire rim hub caps - do you know if that was offered. I don't like them and wish they had the Rallys, just curious if this was offered or put on there from another car? See pic. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Sean Edited June 4, 2018 by Brewcitybroker (see edit history)
Pat Curran
Buick offered a "shorty" console and a full operating console for a number of years. This car has the "shorty" console. The wire wheel cover on this car was an option and is the correct style for the year.
