GSPORT
Recommendations for Buick i.e. '65 Gran Sport NOS parts suppliers would be appreciated.I have used Year One & Kanter plus other suppliers for my '53 Chevy 3100 PU. But here I am paticulary looking for interior / emblems accessories etc. There are tons of suppliers for chevy/ford, but I am unfamiliar with various sources for Buick/GS.Time to plan on what I can possibly get done during the winter months. Guest John Chapman
YearOne is pretty good. Below are some more links. Soft parts are pretty easy to come by for the interior. Trim parts are tougher. No repos being made for the '65. I've had fair luck on eBay finding emblems, etc. Handles and other bits like lenses are interchangeable with GM A bodies. Decent steering wheels apparently don't exist and console parts are pretty dear. Chassis parts are also largely interchangeable, except for the upper A arms, and engine/transmission.Buick Specific--Buick Farm: http://www.buickfarm.com/Cars: http://www.oldbuickparts.com/Fanasy Auto: http://www.fantasyautoworks.com/default.htmChicagoLand Buick List: http://www.chicagolandbuick.org/partners/vendors.htmlVendors for Other A Bodies--Ames (Pontiac): http://www.amesperf.com/index.htmlFusick (Olds): http://www.fusick.com/OPG (GM/MOPAR): http://www.opgi.com/home.aspYearOne: http://www.yearone.com/Interior/tops:Legendary: http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/Repo Harnesses: http://www.wiringharness.com/ Best be it to post needs here and see what shakes out...Cheers,John
