1925 Torque specs

Does anyone have the engine rebuild torque specs for the 25 Buick Standard engine? I tried Google Search with no luck.

Torque wrenches were not around until the early thirties. Most of the manuals said to tighten the bolts until the gasket didn't leak.  The attachment might give you some information.

I once asked an old time mechanic about torquing head bolts.It's difficult to put in print what he said, but it was something like "you grab the johnson bar and go AARGH, Uh.Uh and it's torqued".
