Guest houstonroyer Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 (edited) So I just got the carburetor off of my 1948 Chevy Thriftmaster cleaned and a new kit on it, but the accelerator pump isn't getting fuel into the barrel part. If you plunge it, nothing comes out, as nothing is getting into it. I don't really know how this carb is set up, so I guess my question is what hole can I blow in, or focus on, in order to fix this issue? Pictures would be extremely helpful if you've got them. Thanks so much Houston Edited July 1, 2017 by houstonroyer (see edit history)
Dave39MD Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 This is a great site and source. You will have to look around but they have the step by step Carter instructions and troubleshooting. Their kits are worth the extra money. Dave http://www.thecarburetorshop.com/Troubleshooting.htm
