Looks like a pretty interesting oil filter mounted to the trans. I wonder how many amps that generator puts out? Always wondered what it would be like to take these oversize parts and try and put them into a regular sized car.

One of my 55's came with a larger diameter generator the fit the mounts, but was definitely not stock.  I shelved it until a few years ago and had it tested;  it worked and put out 90 amps!  Could not find anything but 30 amp voltage regulators (cheap enough for experimentation).
