Jubblies
Hi, I'm new to this forum. I've recently acquired a Chrysler 66. It's been in the back of a garage since the early sixties. I'm wanting to put a date on this car. Does anyone know how to date these beauties? The vehicle is pretty much complete only missing some minor things but needs plenty of love to return to its former glory. Any info would be greatly appreciated. sorry, only pics I have are from on the back of the tow truck.
Dave Mellor NJ
Hearty welcome from the Antique Automobile Club of All the world. As you see there are a lot of Aussies here. I think your car is a 30 model as is this one which is also Australian. It had a tag line antiqueautomobileclubaustralia.com on google.
nzcarnerd
When you get further into it you should find a FEDCO serial number in the middle of the dash which will date it more accurately. Just search FEDCO on this site for more. There are several pages here which will date the car to the month - Once you open it there are several pages and the size can be blown up to read it. I presume this car has a Chrysler factory body and not a Richards(?) or Holden?
