Site for Power Seat Repair

I did this to a couple of spare units a few years ago.  It's a pretty easy job, although (IIRC) I also disassembled and cleaned the cables and motor.  I'd encourage anyone with a seat that is sluggish or acting up to have a go at it.

I've done this to several and I've never seen any significant wear in the gears, shafts, etc.  They really do seem to be quite robust (over-engineered, even).   As pointed out in the write-up, the biggest issue was hardened grease.  Once that's cleaned off, it's a straightforward lube and assemble operation.
