Guest
I just purchased a 1908 REO Model G 1-cyl. I have wheels but no lock rings. Can anyone help me determine what type of lock rings I need and where I can get them? Are there any alternatives? Also, should I consider joining the REO club, AACA or HCCA? I tried the HCCA several years ago but the people there were just not friendly to newbies. Thanks in advance for any help.
Chris Paulsen
Unfortunately, I cannot offer any advice on the lock rings or the REO club. I can , however, recommend that you try the HCCA again. I don't know what regional group you met with, but as the President of the North Jersey Regional Group, I can tell you that we are always looking for new members, as a region as well as a National group. the National HCCA publishes a roster of members and cars. That may very well be your best bet to find out more about your REO. Most members I have met through the years are more than happy to help in any way they can. Please consider rejoining I don't think you will be disappointed.
