Guest AACA Museum Posted May 19, 2016 Share Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) As summer approaches, we are looking forward to our21st Annual Museum CARnival Car Show on June 18, 2016 from 9 AM to 2 PM here on the beautiful grounds of the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA. Join us for this fun filled day with all makes, models, and years of vehicles in our Car Show, featuring a special area in front of the Museum for Early Off-Roaders in honor of our Featured Exhibit in the Museum this summer. The Car Show will also include tailgating on the lawn, a 50/50 Drawing, Family-Friendly Activities, Entertainment, our popular Valve Cover Racing and more! HotRod Jen will be outside deomonstrating her pinstriping art during Carnival, weather permitting, from 9AM - 1:45PM. Also check out HotRod Jen’s Museum exhibit inside, “Pinstriping and Automobile Art”, concluding on July 31st. All of her pieces on display are for sale. Contact the Museum Retail Store for details, 717-566-7100 x103. There is no admission fee to the CAR show area or for the activities. The Behind the Scenes Tour is by donation. Admission to the AACA Museum exhibits is $12 for Adults, $11 for Seniors, $9 for Juniors and FREE for children 3 & Under and AACA Members with their membership card. A variety of delicious food concession items will also be available for individual sale. Come inside for more automotive fun with our featured exhibit this year, Early Off-Roaders, to get a look at our off-roading roots. Our Mods Vs. Rockers exhibit examines the era in the UK, late 1950s – 1960s and features approximately 12 period motorcycles and 12 period scooters, along with material culture, photographs, and interpretive posters. Also enjoy our Steampunk U display, with reflection on recycled gears and parts commonly found in the automotive industry repurposed into both an artistic and functional form.
