AzBob Posted April 9, 2016 Share Posted April 9, 2016 FWIW, I have a note regarding the recommended head bolt torque on my 1926 Standard as being 50 to 55 ft. lbs. Torque specs are seldom seen in manuals of this era. Others may want to chime in on this. My shop manual simply states "Start with the center bolts and work toward either end, tightening lightly with a wrench. After all are tightened lightly, go over them again and tighten firmly."
