JZRIV
Anyone know what the correct battery is for a 66? The shop manual shows what appears to be an R71 12" long battery. The Antique Auto Battery website indicates it was a G27 as used in earlier years. I had planned on using a battery topper but the only one available that visually appears correct is for the R59 which is only a 10.5" long battery. I may still do that for budgetary reasons but first need to know what the car came with. I had two experiences in the 90s with batteries from Antique Auto Battery and neither was good. 68RIVGS
The '68 Owners Manual specifies a Delco Y71 energizer Jason - maybe check the '66 Owners Manual for the correct size ?
