Tilt Ray headlight bar

Saturday night auction I like to attend had a headlight bar this past week.

 

The headlights were "Tilt Ray Tilt Top"- mechanically dipped headlights. No linkage or lenses, just the bar and light housings/ reflectors, and one light was missing the chrome trim ring. The mechanical aiming feature appeared it would work with a little penetrating oil and lube and the reflectors looked like polishing would help them.

 

Wasn't sure what car the lights and bar were from but only thing I've seen mechanically dipped headlights on was a late-teens Cadillac. Told the buyer it was probably from a high-end car.

 

Anyone know what other makes and years used these?
