HistoryBuff
The 1949 Delahaye Roadster, which some have dubbed the most beautiful car in the world, was given to Britain's blonde bombshell Diana Dors when she was 17. I believe at that time it didn't have a Delahaye engine, just some old American V8. I think it was kicking around in the U.S. for years until some restorer put a Delahaye engine in it. Anybody know when it was offered cheap as a project car? LIke to hear the year and what the price was back then. I think it recently sold at auction for $3 million plus at an RM auction. Here's a pic of it on this website: http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-10975531
