Kinda like the front license plate holder and sold in Sonora as well.  This RM has sat a long, long time. A whole lifetime.  Those CA Yellow plates ran from 56 to 63 when the Black Plates debuted. The letters on the plate starting with the later "A" indicate the very first run of the then new yellow plates in early 56 then proceeded during the 1956 plate year as letters starting in B,C or D would indicate. 1957 plate issues would begin with the letters F & G respectively.  Notice the front grill guard says Super and not Roadmaster as it should say.  Nice chrome.  Yeah, Sonora is in the Sierra Gold Country area ( Think 1849 Gold Rush Era ).  The area is very dry and hot most of the time and gets snow in the winter time.  So what do ya think, get a hold of it, wash it down, Marvel Mystery Oil the whole thing?  The chrome alone is worth the asking price.  Do you think the seller knows the hood will only open from the side and not conventionally front the front ?
