Guest Straight eight
What would cause the stabilizer sway bar grommet to loosen after 20 years of limited service. How can they be held in place? Should I just replace it and rely on friction and the clamp to hold it in place? old-tank
Only 20 years? Old rubber gets hard and shrinks. Get some new ones and lubricate with silicone grease at the sway bar. If you need to go somewhere, lubricate and wrap the grommet with tape for a tight fit before installing the bracket...might outlast this driving season .Willie
