Tom_S
I was recently going thru some old photos and came across another one of my 36 Buick and another family car. The 36 has my Grandfather sitting in the car, taken in Brentwood, Pa., and probably in 1936 when new.The other is of my father(small child sitting in the car in back) and written on the photo says "Their first car". Must be some kind of family outing and would anyone have any idea what year/make it might be?Thanks,Tom
dibarlaw
Tom: Looks to me to be a 1912-1914 WHITE "Mountain wagon" type tour bus. (4 rows of seats). Carl Amsley here in Chambersburg Pa.would drive his Stanley Steamer mountain wagon near my home several times a month.
Tom_S
Larry,I thought I remember my father saying it was a White, but I was not sure. Don't know why my grandfather would buy such a large one since there were only 4 in the immediate family. But, it looks like he would take others on outings. Photo was taken around the Pittsburgh area. Thanks,Tom
