StevieG
My 1930 Dodge Model DD has lever action shocks, looking for info on rebuilding them, I don't think they have springs like the knee action does.
Thanks
Stephen
Montreal
ply33
If they are similar to the ones used on Plymouth then they are pretty standard Delco-Lovejoy units. There are a number of places that advertise rebuilding services for them.
I'd recommend the place that did mine, except that in the 20 years since I had mine done they ceased to exist....
I vaguely recall an article on these in Skinned Knuckles in the last few years. If I can find it I will see if there are rebuilding instructions for the do-it-yourselfer.
D Binger
PLY33,
You talk about Delco Lovejoy Shocks, Are they the same as that on the early 30's Chevys? I think they had then on other GM vehicles also.
Dan
