HistoryBuff
Back at that time it was still Pinin Farina. At any rate this Rumanian website has a picture of the sky blue car with red interior, shot in Italy (I recognized the background as outside the Turin Auto Show)http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1958_cadillac_skylight/images/and I remember seeing a classified ad, maybe in Road & Track, advertising the car for sale. Or maybe the ad was for the fixed roof coupe version which had a wrap around rear window, the coupe being two tone, white roof. There's always the possibility that the convertible could have been rebodied as the coupe to make it look like two different cars (as Pininfarina sometimes did)http://www.carstyling.ru/en/car/1958_cadillac_skylight/images/27660/Anyway I think one or both made it to the US but the trail was lost over 50 years ago....I don't think either is good looking but they at least represent an early GM tie-in with Italian coachbuilders to rival Chrysler's efforts with Ghia
