I have some ocean front propety in Arizona for sale, or a tall building in NewYork, or a long bridge in Calif.
I don't think they had deer whistles in 1970, dealer accessorie book list nothing like this.
I have seen the chrome metal whistles before, about $5.00 more than the plastic ones.

This is one of the biggest issues in judging cars. People say that the car came from the dealer with an odd accessory, and the cost of it may even show on the dealer invoice.
The reality is that the dealer was free to tack on items from the corner auto store, J C Whitney, or wherever.
Regardless of dealer supply, they weren't Buick accessories, and would hurt the car in a judged show.

------------------
John, I couldn't find the curb feelers, but I Buick did have have a nifty clothes hanger in the "Engineer Approved Accessories for 1965" booklet.
------------------
buickfam@aol.com
Life long Buick Fan.
1965 Skylark H/T
1965 Gran Sport Convertible
1948 Chevy Pickup with 401 Buick.
