VickyBlue
Check to see if this will fit...https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detail/16121/Chevrolet_Gas_Tank_Steel_Original_Style_Except_3Passenger.htmlThis is what I ended up doing in my 37 Pontiac Business. I got mine from TanksInc. I "flipped" it around as the filler neck needed to be on the R side. I used one 2" PVC 45* elbow and with the supplied hose I was able to make it work. My 37 original tank had been Por15'ed and long story short sealer failed which resulted in an all new fuel system. As far as quality, second to none. This is the second unit I have purchased, first was for my 56 Buick. Everything I looked at was designed either for the Chevy or the Ford, nothing for the BOP market. I was told this particular one, once flipped, with a slight filler neck mod, can work and in my case it did. Was able to use the original fuel tank straps, no interference with frame rails the only difference is my oem tank was a 20 gal tank, this one is 17 I think.
