Your car uses a Purolator L-6 oil filter. You can buy a good reproduction from Burr Ripley that looks like the original on the outside but uses a modern spin-on style filter inside, I have one on my 34. Burr doesn't use a computer, call him at 607-844-8473.

Thanks much. I have spoken with Burr and he can supply the filter reproduction, but I still need to find the cooler (or at least the shell). Any leads on that would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

I know I've seen a cooler for sale somewhere in the last few months, not sure where. Check Ebay, do a search here in the Buy/Sell and Packard forums, and join the PAC forum at:

Thanks Don. I did check all those sources, and just joined (and posted) on the Packard Club's board. We'll see what I can come up with. These cars are such a joy to work on. Tim
