ron hausmann
Folks,Does anyone know where one can get information on the factory jet settings for a Stromberg OS-2 or OC-2 carb ??? These were used on large nickel era six cylinder cars like my 1923 Kissel Gold Bug and 1923 Kissel Brougham sedan. These are early side-draft O-series Stromberg carbs and somewhat rare. I have the Stromberg "plain tube" manuals that tell how to tune the O-series idle and high speed needles, but those manuals say nothing about the other tube settings made at the factory. Unfortunately, when these carbs are disassembled and are completely rebuilt, as mine have been, the factory set needles are no longer in the right place! Thanks, Ron Haysmann P.E.
