Hello Everyone,

This is a rare one, when was the last time you saw one? I bought the car for my son over the summer for him to use, no interest, so up for sale it must go. I was thinking of useing the car as an every day for myself but it is too nice to us in surburban NYC, located Glen Cove NY. The car wears an old repaint that is OK not great, has the GM rubber nose fading paint issues, FACTORY A/C, 3.8 V-6 Automatic, PS,PB,TW,TG, Perfect Interior, AM/FM. I would keep it myself but space is an issue and it is just too nice to leave outside, I even thought of useing it as an everyday car, but again it is just to nice to be using in suburban NYC with tough winters. these cars were prone to rot when new, there is none on this car but I am sure a winter or two of rock salt will bring on the rot. I want to get it to someone who will appreciate a low mileage unrestored car. I have had interest locally but it has been guys looking to put a V-8 in it. It is a perfect candidate for that because it is so solid.

I see that you have a few 409S? Back in the 70s and 80s, i built about 20 409 cars from show to clone to bracket to full race. In 81, built a 62 on alcohol that ran 8.90s in a 1/4 and in 87, took 2nd in the nationals with the white 63. 409-small heads-2 barrel carb-power glide with a 488. 12.70s all day long. The red one is a clone of Haydenn Proffit before people even new what cloning was. We put a Z11 in that car. The white 62 with my 3 little brothers was my 1st 409 race car. That was in 67. That car was always a drag car from day one out of Det. I was 15 at the time.
