Robe Rail & Good news

Recommended Posts

I need a good plate able robe rail for my 1929 Stiudebaker commander, The one on the car I'm restoring is broken in a couple of places.

Now the good news.

The widow that sold me this car said the last time it was running was 1966. Well, checking out the igniton and replacing a weak coil I got it running today.

It sure sounded sweet and quiet. I am very happy.

Cracked? Broken? Pieces missing? Beyond repair?

The robe rail has a partial missing mounting flange on the drivers side of the rail. One of the mounting post is broken. The rail appears to be cast from pot metal.

If I cannot find a good one I will have to have one made.

Thanks for your questions.

regards, Dave
