Steve Braverman Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 So my dads 10C started running poorly at the trek. I think it's fuel related so I took the carb apart and cleaned it. Then I tried to adjust it as per the manual. If I turn the idle screw all the way down or out, it has no effect on the idle. It just idles crappy. Any thoughts. ak Posted August 15, 2013 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Steve, have you consulted the Franklin troubleshooting guide for series 9 and 10 cars? JRHave you used a vacuum gauge to determine whether the line between the tank and the vacuum tank is without leaks? Have you installed a gascolator on the vacuum tank?
