Any possibility of some nicely re-chromed items left over from an abandoned '55 restoration?

I'm Looking for the following (all to suit a '55 Special or Century)

• Tail light housings (Left & Right)
  
• Trunk Ornament
  
• Headlight Chrome surrounds
  
• Chrome center Grill Bar
  
• Bumper Bars and parts
  

In fact any chrome items would interest me.

Alternatively some nice original pit free examples would be considered. Any leads appreciated.

Thanks for the offer but I have all the stainless polished and ready to go back on.

As I've not had any luck finding some good re-plated parts I've taken the plunge and visited some chrome shops this week.

I Located one that has a good reputation and checked out their work........they already have 3 sets of 55 Buick bumpers in various stages of being repaired and plated.

I'm beginning to think there are more 55's out here now than left in the whole of the USA:)

I should have some nice shiny bumpers and other parts to go on the car when re-assembly begins.

I still need to find some nice (preferably re-plated) Tail light housings for 40 or 60 series..................I'll post a new wanted advert for them.

The portholes and front fender spear are about the only trim that are common between our cars.

But, I'll keep my eye open for you.
