1936 Lincoln-Zephyr Uni-body was pretty radical

Most cars in this era were body, bolted to a frame ..some say these early huge classic type cars were

gorgeous custom coaches installed on a truck frame..The L-Z is one of the first unit construction "cars" A real departure

for Lux car manufacturers...and I suppose part of the reason the "classic car" snobs still turn their noses up at our

obviously classic automobiles..( look at the advance creative style on a 36-42 lincoln compared to a postwar caddy 4 door "classic"

go figure..anyway...
