wayne045
I found this Buick in a storage warehouse in Atlanta GA. It had been stored there for the last eight years. The fuel system was in bad shape. The tank was very rusty. Had the carb rebuilt and installed a new tank and blew out the lines. Runs very good now!!! The seats and carpet were both hard and brittle. I had the seats reupholstered and I installed new carpet, turned out great!! All the chrome looks great, no pits or rust. The body and floor pans are like new. I do have a rear main seal that is leaking and am hoping the more I drive it, it will slow down or stop. If not, I will have to get that repaired. A nice car to look at and drive. I was driving down a country two lane Saturday. I looked at the speedo and I was doing 70. I thought I was going around 50. It runs so smooth and quiet, you don't realize it. Got to watch myself. bhambulldog
Very Nice !!! That is Beautiful !!! I looked at the speedo and I was doing 70. I thought I was going around 50.When my Buick is doing 50 the speedometer reads 70 !! Mine shows about 30% - 35% faster than the actual speed. My odometer is correct however..... Guest Higgs56
Wow, that is a beauty! I really like the black on red, it really pops. My speedo doesn't even work, that is on the list of repairs while I've got her torn apart.
