cool57
has anyone tried concealing disc brakes behind a fake finned drum? there are hot rod kits that look pretty decent I just wondered if anybody's tried it on the Riviera
RivNut
If you want the look of finned drums, just keep the drum brakes. These 12" x 2" drums give plenty of stopping power unless you're doing some downhill canyon carving. For everyday use, they're fine. If the iron liners in your drums are getting thin you can have them relined. The folks who do the relining advertise in the Riview. If you're having problems finding shoes, you can always have your old shoes relined as well.
