Guest Tony B
1931 Olds Patrician standard sedan for sale. Runs and drives well. No leaks, doesn't burn oil. Brand new interior installed about 3 yrs ago to original configuration. Re chromed last year, (grille shell was powder coated chrome). Repainted to original Argone/Bingham green configuration with lacquer paint about 15 yrs. ago. Paint is still in good shape. $10,000. FYI this is a pretty rare model for not only this year but all pre-war Oldsmobiles. Of the 47,277 Oldsmobiles built in 1931 only 510 were 5 wheel Patrician standard sedans. deaddds
Were all chrome pieces redone exterior/ interior or just the grille? And do I understand the post correct, the grille had been powder coated chrome but redone in correct manner? Thanks
Guest Tony B
Bumpers were previously done. I had the exterior door handles, headlight buckets and bezels, bucket stanchions or supports, headlight bars and Oldsmobile emblem re-chromed. I ended up in a big dispute with the guy I had doing the chrome work over the grille shell. I took it back from him and had it powder coated chrome. Interior door handles and window cranks are original nickel plated.
