Joseph P. Indusi
Has anyone ever heard of certain 1954 Dodge Royals serving as market tests for the upcoming 1955 La Femme cars?Joe
keiser31
You may be thinking of the Chrysler show cars of 1954, the La Comtesse and the Le Comte. I know the La Comtesse still exists....not sure about the other one.
Joseph P. Indusi
I am referring to some 1954 Dodge Royals marketed with pink on the bottom with white top. Supposedly these were offered to judge the market strength for the LA Femme models that began in 1955. I am aware of the Chrysler concept cars, but have heard that there were 54 Dodge Royals as market test cars. Trying to confirm if this is true.Thanks.Joe
keiser31
I realize what you were describing. Nothing in my Dodge literature shows that type of concept car or model for 1954. Just sayin' I have never heard of them in all my years of antique car research, but that does not mean they didn't make them.
