1928 ignition lock

Hi,

can anybody advise me how to disassemble ingnition lock? I was about to get the console replated and have keys made (none came with the car). I cannot pull the longer pin out, is there any special "trick" required? Or do I need to simply grind it off and upon reassembly fit a new one?

How does the lock cylinder go out? I have drilled the pin out, anything else what is not apparent?

OK, I have made some progress. The lock cylinder is out, unfortunately of no use, the pot metal parts disintegrated and cylides has no function except of visual presence. Does anybodyknow where to find replacement? Original part would be nice, more durable replacement will help. Any part that can be modified to work will help.

Any help is appreciated.
