Centurion
I've been sent a photo of a '47 Buick sedan. I suspect that the car is a Super rather than a Roadmaster, but the owner did not indicate. He wonders whether the correct, original floor covering material is rubber or carpet. Can anyone help? Can anyone recommend a source for the correct material?
Guest Straight eight
To the best of personal knowledge only the Special had just rubber. The Super (I had one) used rubber mats but the center of the driver side and the center of the passenger side and a small joining piece were carpet, glued to the rubber base of the mat. pirate
Hampton Coach in Amesbury Massachusetts (www.hamptoncoach.com) will have both your answer needed and the carpet available> You will need to find out if the car is a Special, super or Roadmaster before calling them.
