abandg Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 What I have done in the past is mount clips to molding first. This way when you tap it back on the car the clips will not fall inside never to be seen again. You may also want to put a small drop of adhesive on the clip to keep it fom falling off. One more thing, if you have the moldings re chromed the studs might be a little to big to receive the clip so you may have to widen the slots or file the 9 spades on the molding.
