Guest odds2ends
We have some papers and we are curious about them. They all are related to the Harnischfeger Sales Corporation and dated 1928 thru 1930 or close to it. Harnischfeger supposedly was working on developing a automatic parking garage and they had written to a bunch of car manufactures wanting them to fill out charts on clearance dimensions of various models of vehicles. It looks like they sent a standard form to these companies and in turn the companies sent back the information. Is there an interest in any of this material to anyone out there??? Is material like this valuable to collectors, different car owners, or who??? We will send a list of the car companies to someone who would help us out with this. Bud Tierney
Missed this post earlier; I guess haven't thought to check the forum for awhile...If that's the Harnisetc of P&H, if you still have it you might try hcea.net (Hist Const Eqpmt Assn). They maintain an archive of const epmt literature, and some P&H enthusiast might take it to donate to the archives there.
