Chadmax
What is a 1916 Mitchell 2dr roadster in good running driving condition worth? Thanks Chad
TheMoneyPit
Owl's Head Museum sold a nice un-restored touring about 6 years ago for $8500.00 - it was a good HPOF car - original condition with the mechanicals gone thru for safety/durability
trimacar
That could very well be a good price. Unfortunately, values drop off on cars post-1915, due to not being eligible for Horseless Carriage activities .... I believe there's a way to have a very early 1916 (i.e. built in 1915) be eligible but not sure of that process.A roadster might bring a little more than a touring, as long as buyer doesn't have a big family! TheMoneyPit
I agree David, but it is a starting point - if you feel better add 15% premium for a roadster, then subtract 25% due to current market conditions. The car was bought due to the last name being Mitchell which may have inflated the price, but I thought it was reasonable if you are into that era of car.
